A threat actor known as B4baYega has posted a significant data leak from the Football Federation of Morocco (FRMF) on a popular dark web forum. The post claims that the data was exfiltrated from the federation’s FTP server and is now available for free download. B4baYega also hinted that more data on Morocco will be released soon.
The post, shared with screenshots of the stolen files and the FRMF’s official emblem, underscores the growing threat that cyberattacks pose to sports organizations worldwide. At present, it’s unclear how much data was taken or what kind of information it contains. However, FTP servers often hold sensitive internal documents, financial data, and personal information, which could have significant implications if exposed.
