A threat actor using the alias N1KA has allegedly leaked the database of Farmsponsor, a Nigerian agro-tech investment platform. Farmsponsor, known as Nigeria’s “Number One Agric-Tech Platform,” connects individuals with agricultural projects, offering investment opportunities in farming initiatives.
According to the threat actor’s post, the breached database contains 11,890 records including:
- Full names
- Email addresses
- Residential addresses
- Deposit and investment details
- Amounts and approval status
- IP addresses linked to transactions
A sample of the compromised database was shared publicly, revealing sensitive user information such as deposits ranging from tens of thousands to millions of naira.
The exposure of financial and personal data poses significant risks to Farmsponsor’s users, including identity theft, fraud, and targeted phishing campaigns.
