Hacktivist group, Hider_Nex, has allegedly claimed responsibility for a cyberattack on the Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT) in Morocco. The group announced that they gained access to the OFPPT’s digital platform (ofppt-edu.ma) and leaked extensive student data, including both old and new accounts.
The leaked database reportedly contains sensitive student records, raising concerns about privacy and potential misuse of this data. The attackers posted evidence of the breach on underground forums, offering downloadable files as proof.
This incident highlights the ongoing targeting of government and educational platforms across North Africa by hacktivist groups, who often seek to disrupt institutions and expose sensitive data for ideological or retaliatory purposes.
