The hacktivist group, Dark Hell 07x, alongside hacktivists, Dr. Shell 08X and Jokeir 07x, has claimed responsibility for a wave of intrusions into critical Ghanaian government and corporate systems.
The hacktivist group shared videos of the compromise and access of their targets via their Telegram channel.
Confirmed Breach Targets
1. Ghana Police Service – Body Cam Management System
Domain: bcam.police.gov.gh
Threat actors accessed bodycam video archives, operation logs, and officer activity files. Dozens of MP4 files associated with law enforcement activities were browsed and downloaded, exposing sensitive audio-visual evidence.
2. Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (University of Ghana)
Domain: survey.noguchi.ug.edu.gh
The REDCap-based survey portal was breached, exposing records with names, email addresses, and potentially sensitive health metadata. This poses significant privacy concerns under local and international data protection laws.
3. INETCOM Ghana – ISP Infrastructure Portal
Domain: inet.com.gh
INETCOM, a major internet infrastructure provider in Ghana, suffered a breach of its internal admin dashboard. Attackers accessed router logs, customer metrics, backup details, and provisioning systems, showcasing full internal visibility.
4. National Communications Authority – Number Management System (NMS)
Domain: nms.nca.org.gh
A critical national telecom registry was accessed, revealing dashboards containing SIM allocations, subscriber data, and telecom license management tools.
5. Ghana Police Admin Panel (Device Licensing Systems)
Domain: police.gov.gh
Hackers claimed “full control” of the digital infrastructure, with successful exfiltration of the website’s databases and confirmation that both front-end and backend access points were compromised.
