A threat actor on a dark web forum has allegedly leaked a database linked to Yasat.tn, a Tunisian streaming and entertainment platform. The leak, shared under the title “Free DB yasat.tn / Tunisia”, includes sensitive user data and was distributed via a public file-sharing service.
Based on the samples shared, the alleged database contains:
- Usernames and full names
- Email addresses and passwords (some appearing to be hashed)
- Phone numbers and addresses
- Date of birth and gender information
- Company names and logos
- Potential account activity details such as session tokens and verification codes
This suggests that the breach could expose both personal identity information (PII) and login credentials.
If confirmed, the exposure of Yasat.tn’s data represents a significant privacy risk for Tunisian users. Email and password combinations can be reused by cybercriminals to compromise other accounts, while personal identifiers such as addresses and phone numbers can enable phishing, fraud, or even targeted harassment.
Tunisia has seen an increase in alleged database leaks in recent months, affecting both private businesses and government-linked platform
