The ransomware group, Devman, has listed a massive breach involving an Egyptian government domain ending in .gov.eg on their dark web leak site. According to the post, the attackers claim to have exfiltrated around 58GB of data and are demanding a $2.27 million ransom.
The leak notice is accompanied by the usual countdown timer, which in this case appears to have already expired, and a “View Files” button suggesting that the data has either been made public or is about to be. While the exact agency is not fully disclosed, the domain hint implies it’s tied to Egypt’s official e-government infrastructure.
