A cybercriminal using the alias Jumbojet is reportedly selling data dumps allegedly sourced from institutions within Ghana’s education sector. The actor claims the dataset includes over 47,000 records from schools across regions such as Greater Accra and the Volta Region.
According to the post, the compromised data contains sensitive personal and academic information, including:
- Full names
- Email addresses
- Dates of birth
- Phone numbers
- Physical addresses
- Gender
- Examination results
- School names
- Index numbers
- Certificate details
A sample of the database was shared as proof of access.
If verified, this breach could pose serious risks to affected students and institutions, including identity theft, impersonation, and fraud.
